The main Christmas market in Madrid is the one in the Plaza Mayor. It takes place in what is probably the most beautiful and visited square in the city.

From the end of November to the end of December, the Christmas market in the Plaza Mayor in Madrid has more than 104 stalls of typical Christmas products and endless activities for all ages.

Another prominent market is the Christmas Market in Paseo de Recoletos, which takes place during the month of December. It is an important market for artisan gifts and handmade items. Renowned for the quality and variety of its products, guaranteed by the presence of many renowned artisans.

What would Christmas be without its merry and warm Christmas lights? From November 22nd, the streets of Madrid will be adorned with thousands of Christmas lights that will make this time of year so special.

Tour Madrid in the Naviluz Christmas Bus, a bus with departure and arrival in the Plaza de Colón (Serrano Street, in front of No. 30. It’s the only stop). It runs through the main streets of the centre of Madrid and allows you to enjoy the Christmas lights. Tickets will be available for purchase online in early November. The Crystal Gallery becomes The Winter Gallery, a winter landscape with a large skating rink and several igloos that will host an extensive program of storytelling and creative workshops. The space also offers a bar and cafeteria service to regain your strength after a skating session.
